Bob\ne Thomas, der nach Deutschland wegen der Liebe gekommen ist, war f\u00fcr 30 Jahre\nin Amerika als T\u00e4nzer und Darsteller t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit seiner Ausbildung als Musiker \/ Komponist (BMusic Theorie\/Komponieren\nWittenberg Univ, USA) sowohl auch als Schriftsteller (MFA Creative Nonfiction\nWriting, Goucher College, USA) bringt er vielf\u00e4ltig Erfahrung und Training als\nK\u00fcnstler zu seiner Arbeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er hat u.a. mit dem Artie\nShaw Orchestra Asia Tour (1994), mit der Houston Symphony Orchestra, Boston\nPops Orchestra (auf national TV), San Antonio Orchestra, New Mexico Orchestra,\nJacksonville Orchestra, und Boston Philharmonic Orchestra getanzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seine Spezial\u00e4ten sind amerikanische Tanzen aus den 1920-1950er Jahre,\ndarunter authentischer Jazz, Swing-Jitterbug-Lindy, und Stepptanz. Er hat\nStepptanzimprovisation und amerikanische Tanzgeschichte f\u00fcr die BA-Tanz\nProgramme an der Roger Williams University und Dean College unterrichtet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zwischen 1993 und 2005 war seine Show \u201cRoots of American Dance, The\nAfrican-European Synthesis\u201d, die er selber recherchiert, geschrieben und\ngetanzt hat, mehr als 500 mal in der USA und Kanada dargestellt.\n\nEr ist seit 2008 in Deutschland als T\u00e4nzer, Lehrer und\nDarsteller t\u00e4tig, ua als Tanzgeschichte Lehrer f\u00fcr die Tanzp\u00e4dagogik Ausbildung\nin Bielefeld und als Stepptanzimprovisation und Body Percussion Workshopleiter\nin G\u00fctersloh und Bad Oeynhausen.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
